The overall build quality is very high quality, as usual.
The Coolerboost Tech is amazing – the GPU never gets more than 70C and the CPU stays cool. It’s still only a bit warm after a few hours of play. Do not even worry about thermal throttling. The fans can be a bit loud, but if playing with headphones, it does not matter.
The 120Hz display is so smooth coupled with GPU power and GTX1070. (Doom Nightmare-shoot 120 fps with Kaukalat about 90fps)
The new SteelSeries keyboard feels good and the individual RGB keys are pretty cool if that’s your thing.
All in all, it’s a great laptop that’s been made for current games while running at low temperatures.
Hey I was just wondering what kind of FPS this system gets for CSGO. Also, is the screen a TN panel or an IPS?
Hey James, CS:GO will run with any settings including 8x antialiasing at 120 fps with no problems. The screen is a 120hz TN panel with a 3ms response.
